Our supporting program NIPPON CULTURE invites you again this year to immerse yourself in Japanese culture, even while sitting on the couch at home! In the program you will discover cooking classes and delicious tastings next to Japanese lessons, manga drawing workshops and origami folding sessions. One of our highlights this year is the theater group Kakashiza, which presents Japanese hand-shadow performances in a live stream from Yokohama. In a workshop, you will have the opportunity to create shadow figures yourself. Lectures, panel discussions and book presentations will complement our film program. Our popular Nippon Heimkino At Home At Home is a must-have for all fans of Japanese trash films again! There will be online karaoke, a live concert from Okinawa, a DJ set of Japanese film scores with DJ neelie. and many more offers for participation!
