Tatsuya MORI


Tatsuya MORI was born in Hiroshima Prefecture in 1956 and studied law at Rikkyo University. He began his film career as an actor. In 1987, he began working for a TV production company and then became a freelance director, shooting the internationally acclaimed documentaries A (1998) and A2 (2001 / NC ’02) about the Aum Shinrikyo cult. In the following years, he continued making documentary films, including I -DOCUMENTARY OF THE JOURNALIST- (2019 / NC ’20), while also working as an author and as a professor at Meiji University.
