Tetsuaki MATSUE is considered one of the leading independent directors of Japan. Born in 1977 he released his highly acclaimed debut ANNYONG KIMCHI in 1999, followed by several equally well received documentaries. His film LIVE TAPE won the NIPPON DIGITAL AWARD at the Nippon Connection Festival 2010.

Ryoko lives with her much older lover Mamoru, and tries to figure out how two people can connect despite deep differences. Playful images from a Tokyo summer make for a joyous and humorous form of soul-searching.
Ryoka ARAHRKI was born in 1975 and initially studied art at Musashino Art University. She has made several films, including BELOW HY COLLAR BONE (1998), which won an award at the lmage Forum Festival.
