PLAN 75

Nippon Cinema   ª

In the near future, Japan is faced with a desperately overaged population and a fierce social struggle for jobs and housing. Thus, the government introduces a program encouraging everybody over the age of 75 to choose suicide. In her feature film debut, which premiered at the 2022 Cannes Film Festival and was Japan’s entry for Best International Feature Film at the Academy Awards, Chie HAYAKAWA depicts an alarming dystopia.

Remaining tickets for the opening movie are available at the box office in Mousonturm at approx. 18:45 and approx. 20:00 (after the opening ceremony).
