Ren SUDO 須藤蓮
Nippon Visions ½
A bittersweet summer film set in 1970s southern Japan. Akira takes fellow student Yoshioka to his home by the sea for a holiday so as to get closer to him, but two female friends from his high school days make things complicated. With his directorial debut, Ren SUDO proves that he is one of the most promising young talents of queer independent cinema in Japan.
