Taeko arrives by propeller plane at a small beach town. Passing through, the gentle breeze coming from the ocean is sweeping over the foreboding of strange events to unfold. With no cell phone service and a variety of eccentric characters surrounding her, Taeko finds herself warming to her own retirement.

About Naoko OGIGAMI
荻上直子
Naoko OGIGAMI, born in Chiba Prefecture in 1972, moved to the USA in 1994 to study film at the University of Southern California. She then worked on commercials and made her first short films before making her feature film debut YOSHINO’S BARBER SHOP (2003 / NC ’04). Her film GLASSES (2007 / NC ’10) was awarded the Manfred Salzgeber Prize at the Berlin International Film Festival 2007 and her queer drama CLOSE-KNIT (2017) also received numerous awards, including the Teddy Award at the 2017 Berlin International Film Festival.
