Ken and Kazu are friends and make a good team in their secret drug business. However, when Ken’s girlfriend gets pregnant, he wants to quit. But Kazu’s longing for more money has gotten him deep into problems, so that he needs a loyal partner. Based on the 2011 short film, Hiroshi SHOJI delivers a convincing directorial debut, selling the film through credible actors and a rational cinematographic language.

About Hiroshi SHOJI

Hiroshi SHOJI was born in Hiroshima in 1986 and graduated from the Tokyo Film Center School of Arts. The remake of his 2011 short film which was shown at the Japan Week in cooperation with Nippon Connection is his directorial debut and won the prize for the best movie in the “Japanese Cinema Splash” section of the Tokyo International Film Festival.
