Naoko returns to her hometown, a small fisherman’s village where her mother runs the only hairdresser’s shop and exchange point for the local women. Daihachi YOSHIDA masterfully intertwines their lifelines and lovestories to a gorgeously poetic, deeply moving and at times very surprising portrait of human emotions.
