In the 1970s, Satoshi is a member of a communist terrorist organization. After a warrant is issued for his arrest, he goes into hiding, leading a rootless existence. Veteran director Masao ADACHI, who spent many years underground and in prison for his membership in the Japanese Red Army, adapts the real-life story of Satoshi KIRISHIMA, who turned himself in to the police shortly before his death – after 49 years on the run.
