About Yuzuru TACHIKAWA
立川譲
Yuzuru TACHIKAWA was born in Saitama Prefecture in 1981. After graduating from the Nihon University College of Art, he began working at the renowned animation studio Madhouse. He became known for directing the award-winning series DEATH PARADE (2015), MOB PSYCHO 100 (2016–2022), and DECA-DENCE (2020). He also directed two feature films in the DETECTIVE CONAN series: ZERO THE ENFORCER (2018) and BLACK IRON SUBMARINE (2023). His animated film BLUE GIANT (2023 / NC ’24) has been screened at various festivals, including the 2023 Annecy International Animation Film Festival.
