About Yui KIYOHARA
清原惟

Yui KIYOHARA was born in Tokyo in 1992 and made her first films while still in school. She studied at Musashino Art University and Tokyo University Of The Arts, where Kiyoshi KUROSAWA was her mentor. OUR HOUSE, her graduation project and feature film debut, won the Grand Prize of the PIA Film Festival in 2017 and was screened at the 2018 Berlin International Film Festival. She was awarded as Best Director at the 2018 Asian New Talent Awards in Shanghai. REMEMBERING EVERY NIGHT (2022 / NC ’23) is her second feature-length film and was screened in the Forum section of the 2023 Berlin International Film Festival.
