When he digs up the remaining skeleton of the animal in order to draw it, he meets a mysterious girl. About Masakazu KANEKO
金子雅和
Masakazu KANEKO, born in Tokyo in 1978, began making his first movies on 8mm and 16mm film while studying Politics and Economics. After graduating, he received lessons at the Film School of Tokyo by Takahisa ZEZE. His feature film debut THE ALBINO’S TREES (2016) was shown at over 20 international film festivals and received numerous accolades. RING WANDERING (2021 / NC ‘22) brought him further international success. RIVER RETURNS (2024 / NC ‘25) is his third feature film.
