Family Of Strangers

Nippon Cinema   ª

Three people meet in a psychiatric ward: Hide is a convicted murderer in a wheelchair, Chu is a former office worker with psychotic episodes, and Yuki is an 18-year-old who was abused by her stepfather. Together, they try to find their place in society again. With this film, Hideyuki HIRAYAMA succeeds in making an impulsive plea for social warmth.
