Mirai OSAWA

Mirai OSAWA, born in Tokyo in 1981, studied photography at Nihon University College of Art and documentary filmmaking at the Film School of Tokyo. Since 2014, he has been working for a documentation project initiated by the town of Miyako in Iwate Prefecture. Thus, most of his recent films explore the situation of the regions devastated by the 2011 Tohoku earthquake.
