Kiyotaka OSHIYAMA

Born in Fukushima Prefecture in 1982, Kiyotaka OSHIYAMA was a key animator for numerous successful productions, including EVANGELION: 2.0: YOU CAN (NOT) ADVANCE (2009), A LETTER TO MOMO (2011 / NC ’13), and the Studio Ghibli films THE WIND RISES (2013) and THE BOY AND THE HERON (2024). He launched his own studio, Studio Durian, in 2017., His directorial feature film debut LOOK BACK (2024 / NC ’25) was awarded the Japan Academy Film Prize for Best Animated Film in 2025.
