Chronicling the adventures of a young man and his sheep as well as the exploits of a middle-aged man who’s running after his first love, this film juxtaposes youthful spirit and nostalgic longing. While the two episodes range from cartoonish to melancholic, they both share a lot of warmth and humor depicting their sometimes fallible, but ultimately very lovable characters.

About Ken KAWAI
Born in Osaka in 1989, Ken KAWAI studied under Akira OGATA and worked as an assistant director for various figures, including Kazuyoshi KUMAKIRI and Yu IRIE. His first feature film FROM HERE TO NOWHERE was shown in competition at PIA Film Festival in 2012 and at Yubari International Fantastic Film Festival in 2013. THE SHEEP STORY is his second feature film.
