A nameless man is part of a group that gives housing to homeless people in order to collect their welfare payments. His indifference ends when he discovers a familiar face from his past among the exploited. Shifting between color and monochrome sequences, the poetic film delves into the protagonist’s mind and deals with the exploitation of the poor and social apathy.

About Yasutomo CHIKUMA
Yasutomo CHIKUMA, born in 1983, started his film career as an actor in 2004, and later asserted himself on the international scene as a director with his debut feature NOW, I… (NC ’08) in 2008. In 2011 he wrote the script for NINIFUNI by Tetsuya MARIKO, which was shown at the Locarno Film Festival.
