After the accident at TEPCO's Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant in March 2011, Naoto MATSUMURA stayed alone in his hometown, from which all the residents had been evacuated, and continued to take care of the animals left behind. Ten years after the disaster, the town is once again undergoing a violent transformation, this time in the name of “reconstruction”, while MATSUMURA is still trying to regain the precious way of life he lost.
