Kazuto wants to be an actor, yet he always faints due to anxiety. One day he meets his brother, who works at a company specialized in unconventional acting gigs, like mourning at a funeral or laughing in the theater. Kazuto joins up and at first, everything goes well until a young woman hires these “special actors” to save her sister from a cult. A new comedy by cult director Shinichiro UEDA.

About Shinichiro UEDA

Shinichiro UEDA was born in Shiga Prefecture in 1984. Having made films ever since high school, he eventually founded his own production company, PANPOKOPINA, in 2010. His first short films earned success at several film festivals. His 2017 debut feature film ONE CUT OF THE DEAD (NC ’18) brought in more than a thousandfold of its production budget and won numerous awards.
