Exploited by her co-workers, Kyoko feels lonely and misunderstood. Watching Sakaguchi’s arrest on live television, who after murdering a happy family turns himself in, Kyoko believes to recognize a familiar soul as he glances at the cameras. She is fascinated by him, writes letters and attends his trial, asks his lawyer to arrange for a visit. When Sakaguchi is sentenced to death, she decides to propose to him.
