Nobuhiko OBAYASHI 大林宣彦

この空の花−長岡花火物語

Nippon Cinema   ª

The Nagaoka fireworks in remembrance of the air raid of 1945 serve as a symbol of peace and hope. With this inspiration, Nobuhiko OBAYASHI arranged the stories of various people in postwar Japan in an extremely fast paced semi-documentary-drama that seeks to encourage people to overcome the present situation and presents the terror of war through a truly unique visual appeal.
