The Winner of the 2002 Image Forum Festival intercuts images of on abondoned housing complex with home-video-footage of his parents daily life. Nostalgia, decay and the vibrant now are complexly interwoven.

Toshihiro SHIRAKAWA was born in 1972 in Kagawa and studied political science at Kansei University. In 2001, he moved to Okinawa and made several short films (including THE BRIDGE).
