The lute and the theorbo, two historical string instruments, are rarely heard live today. Frankfurt-based, multi-award-winning soloist Mikiya KAISHO presents the diverse soundscapes of these instruments. The performance includes both meditative lute music from Mamoru HOSODA’s latest anime SCARLET, recorded by KAISHO himself, and timeless masterpieces by Bach, in addition to contemporary Japanese compositions for the theorbo.
