Japanese Folk Dance
Obon, a traditional Japanese summer festival, brings with it colorful yukata, rhythmic drumming, and, of course, the popular bon odori folk dance. Originating as a joyful welcome for the spirits of the deceased, this circle dance is performed in large groups.
