Founded in 1887, the Tokyo University of the Arts is Japan’s oldest national arts institute. We present two outstanding short films by students enrolled at the Graduate School of Film and New Media, which was established in Yokohama in 2005.

A young boy returns from school, but his family barely notices him because they have a visitor. Everyone is chatting excitedly while the stranger remains impassive, sitting silently at the table. Who is this mysterious man? Eerie discoveries follow, and reality starts to unravel.

Ando has an unusual desk job: From behind his computer, he calmly orchestrates criminal schemes. Coordinating contacts, wiretapping people, and collecting extortion money are all part of his daily routine. But one day, 80 million yen vanish, and Ando begins to suspect foul play.
