The KOKO trio, led by jazz musician Taiko SAITO, uses piano, vibraphone, and percussion to bring innovative grooves, precise improvisations, and mystical tones to the stage. SAITO, a marimba and vibraphone player living in Berlin, was awarded the 2024 German Jazz Prize in the Drums / Percussion category for her original compositions that combine Japanese traditions with modern classical music, as well as for her virtuoso playing.
