The little cat Komaneko loves making her own animated films. With great care and patience, she crafts puppets, builds sets, and thinks up stories with her friends. Using animations and backgrounds lovingly made by hand, Tsuneo GODA tells little everyday stories about creativity, friendship, and the joy of filmmaking – without words, but plenty of humor.

About Tsuneo GODA
合田経郎
Tsuneo GODA, born in Tokyo in 1967, began directing commercials after graduating from the Japan Institute of the Moving Image. In 1998, he created Domo-kun, the official mascot for the Japanese broadcast agency NHK. In 2003, he founded dwarf studios and began working on stop-motion animated films. Alongside numerous KOMANEKO short films (starting in 2006), he also produced the DOMO-KUN series, which was broadcast in over 170 countries.
