Takuya TANIGUCHI started playing the taiko drum at the age of three, and he is one of the few taiko soloists in the world. Over the past years, he has performed in more than 24 countries and has been honored with multiple awards. Each of his concerts is an unforgettable experience! For the festival opening, TAKUYA will perform on the koto, a Japanese string instrument. He will also teach a taiko workshop.
