Along with sake, shochu is one of Japan’s most popular alcoholic beverages. It is distilled like whisky or brandy, but has its own distinctive character. In this workshop, UENO GOURMET will introduce you to four different types of the high-proof drink: Shochu made from barley, potatoes, sake pomace and black sugar.
