The musicians of the Shamisen Berlin association, amongst them well-known solo artist Su BUNJAMIN, will play powerful music from Okinawa on their traditional shamisen and sanshin instruments at Nippon Connection. The association devotes itself to preserve and popularize the traditional folk music of Japan in its variety and beauty. Apart from the concert, there will also be a shamisen workshop at the festival.
