About Kotono WATANABE
渡邉こと乃
Kotono WATANABE, born in Gifu Prefecture in 1983, graduated from Aichi University of the Arts in 2007. In the same year, she started working for the renowned Madhouse studio, where she directed the anime series BTOOOM! (2012). GOLD KINGDOM AND WATER KINGDOM (2022 / NC ’23) is her first feature-length anime.
