The ocean as a terrifying but also fascinating and inspiring force of nature characterizes the work of Paula NISHIKAWARA. The artist, who grew up in Vancouver but has Japanese roots, captures the beauty of the world’s oceans in an enchanting way through her fish prints. She considers herself an ambassador of sustainability and even finds a place for washed-up plastic waste in her underwater world.
