Refining Broken Ceramics

Kintsugi is the traditional Japanese art of repairing ceramics. Broken tableware is reassembled and the broken edges are decorated with gold to create a new, unique design. Artist Michiyo YAMASHITA will give you an insight into this fascinating craft. Afterwards, you can breathe new life into broken ceramics yourself! Please bring along a broken ceramic object with a maximum of four fragments. Porcelain is possible in principle, but more complicated to work with.
