This year’s film program focuses on coming of age in Japan, and all the challenges and difficulties that come with it. During the panel discussion, participants will discuss how the genre of coming-of-age films has developed in the history of Japanese cinema and draw connections between youth in Japanese films and the real situation of young people in Japan.
