Jungo is the embodiment of an angsty teenager: as a gay “Jappino” – half Filipino, half Japanese – he experiences discrimination on a daily basis. He also has a strained relationship with his mother, who immigrated from the Philippines. When she introduces him to her shady fiancé, Jungo sets out to find his biological father.

About Kasho IIZUKA
飯塚花笑
Kasho IIZUKA was born in Gunma Prefecture in 1990. Based on his own experiences as a transgender man, he made his first feature film OUR FUTURE in 2011, for which he was awarded the Special Jury Prize at the PIA Film Festival. This was followed by the New Director Award of the Tokyo FILMeX Festival in 2019.
