Japanese Characters For Beginners
Nippon Culture º
Kanji are characters in the Japanese language with Chinese origin. In addition to hiragana and katakana (50 characters each), students in Japan learn around 2000 kanji signs, which are necessary to read Japanese newspapers. Yumi Olbrich from the Japanischen Kultur- und Sprachzentrum Frankfurt will provide insight into the structure and origin of kanji and teach you basic characters. Knowledge of Japanese is not required for participation. Please have a pen and paper ready.
