Just as his band is headed for a breakthrough, Aki dies in a traffic accident. One year later, the introverted student Sota finds Aki’s tape recorder and discovers that every time he uses it, Aki’s spirit takes possession of him for 30 minutes. With Sota’s help, the musician wants to reform his band and help his girlfriend Kana cope with her grief.

About Kentaro HAGIWARA
萩原健太郎
Kentaro HAGIWARA, born in Tokyo in 1980, studied film at the Art Center College of Design in Los Angeles. Back in Japan, he directed short films, commercials and music videos. In 2013, he became the first Japanese recipient of the Sundance/NHK International Filmmakers Award. His feature-length film debut TOKYO GHOUL (2017) was very successful internationally.
