Ryuya SUZUKI

Ryuya SUZUKI was born in Sendai in 1994 and studied at Tohuku University of Art and Design. He taught himself animation during the COVID-19 pandemic and made his first short films, which received numerous awards. For his crowdfunded feature film debut JINSEI (2025 / NC ‘26), SUZUKI handled the writing, animation, and soundtrack production entirely on his own. The film had its world premiere at the 2025 Annecy International Animation Film Festival.
