Takuya UCHIYAMA
内山拓也
Takuya UCHIYAMA, born in Niigata in 1992, worked as a stylist after graduating from the Bunka Fashion College. Soon after, he decided to become a filmmaker and studied under the director Ryota NAKANO. He won the audience award at the PIA Film Festival in 2016 for his feature-length debut VANITAS (2016). What followed were music videos and the medium-length film BLUE FOREST (2018). His second feature SASAKI IN MY MIND (2020 / NC ’21) was backed by crowdfunding and won the Kaneto Shindo Silver Award in 2020.
