Kentaro HAGIWARA


Kentaro HAGIWARA, born in Tokyo in 1980, studied film at the Art Center College of Design in Los Angeles. Back in Japan, he directed short films, commercials and music videos. In 2013, he became the first Japanese recipient of the Sundance/NHK International Filmmakers Award. His feature-length film debut TOKYO GHOUL (2017) was very successful internationally.
