Tetsuaki MATSUE’s documentary film is set on New Years Day 2009 and portrays singer/songwriter Kenta MAENO. In a single 74 minute shot, MATSUE accompanies the musician on his pilgrimage from Kichijoji Hachiman shrine to Inokashira park, where he performs a song with his band.

松江哲明

Tetsuaki MATSUE is considered one of the leading independent directors of Japan. Born in 1977 he released his highly acclaimed debut ANNYONG KIMCHI in 1999, followed by several equally well received documentaries. His film LIVE TAPE won the NIPPON DIGITAL AWARD at the Nippon Connection Festival 2010.
