Teppei YAMAGUCHI’s adaptation of the hero Kurama Tengu’s adventures ranks among the classics of Japanese silent films. NIPPON CONNECTION will present this historical rarity accompanied by the famous benshi Ichiro KATAOKA and the musicians Ayumi KAMIYA (piano), Yasumi MIYAZAWA (shamisen), and Masayoshi TANAKA (drum). Together, they founded the renowned Association of Silent Film Performers.
