Akiko and Kinsei ISHIGAKI lead a simple life close to nature on Iriomote Island (Okinawa). Traditional manual work and the dyeing of fabrics with natural colors fills their days. Time runs at a slower pace than in the hectic world of big cities. But the idyllic environment is threatened by the spreading of real estate projects. A portrait of a special community presented in colorful and poetic images.
