About Yasutomo CHIKUMA
竹馬靖具
Yasutomo CHIKUMA, born in Tochigi Prefecture in 1983, began his film career in 2004 as an actor before gaining international recognition in 2008 with his directorial debut NOW, I… (NC ‘08). In 2011, he wrote the screenplay for Tetsuya MARIKO’s film NINIFUNI, which was invited to the Locarno Film Festival. THE ARK IN THE MIRAGE (2015 / NC ‘16) and THE DEEPEST SPACE IN US (2015 / NC ‘26) have been screened at Nippon Connection.
