Director NAKAGAWA’s focus on the individual participants of the project leads to some immensely moving moments and shots.

About Ayumi NAKAGAWA
Ayumi NAKAGAWA is a documentary film director who often focuses on groups on the margins of society. Her career began with her NHK-produced documentary feature PEASANT MUSICIANS IN CHINA (2003). With SOMEWHERE NOT HERE (2010), focused around her brother's coming out, she presents her first film centered on LGBTQ themes.
