SOUND TRACK creates a bizarre art world where everything has a dreamlike beauty - but behind it all there is a fairy tale, and fairy tales are cruel. Just like brother and sister - since the murder of their parents they are inseparable. He (Sugizo, former guitarist of the band Luna Sea) plays the violin virtuously, his mute sister (played by super model Kou SHIBAZAKI) is a painter. Their synchronicity is so powerful that after her death by burning he is no longer able to play. But years later a strange girl appears, who looks and is named the same as his dead sister - he starts making music again. But who is she, and what is she really up to? Fairy tales, traveling circus, puppet show, sibling love - with dark aesthetics director NIKAI combines all these elements into an unreal story outside of time and space. This film, stylized down to the last picture element, creates a dark fantasy that can only be experienced silently.
