Hirokazu KOREEDA
Still Walking
歩いても 歩いても
Nippon Cinema ª
For the anniversary of the death of the Yokoyama family’s eldest son, the family has been coming together for the past 15 years. It is summer and the memory of the dead son still becomes as oppressing as the heat. Despite everybody’s sufferings they always keep to their sense of humor. Hirokazu KORE-EDA beautifully draws a portrait of a family coping with loss.
