About Ying LI
Ying LI, born in 1963 in Guangzhou, China, made documentaries for China Central Television (CCTV) from 1984. In 1989, he went to Japan to do research in visual anthropology. In 1993, he co-founded the production company Dragon Films and has been a director ever since.
