Post WWII Japan experienced an unheard of economic boom period that transformed the country. In Japan, rapidly constructed "New Towns" arose, that immediately transformed the way people lived. Takayashi HONDA, born and raised in such a “New Town”, followed his hometown and his own complex family over a period of several years to create a fascinating meld of the political and the highly intimate.
