Where Chimneys Are Seen
煙突の見える場所
Nippon Retro ²
A working class married couple with no children, living in humble conditions, finds an abandoned child and attempts to find its mother. In a precise and empathic depiction of the living conditions of ordinary people, GOSHO unfolds his small story into a big film. And he is no conservative: Even though the living conditions remain the same, at the end something has changed for the protagonists.
